At Vicentia, we do all we can to promote literacy and encourage students to experience a wide-variety of genres and topics from our school’s library. With that understanding, we ask that families support appropriate use and care of school books, both at home and at school.
You as parents and legal guardians acknowledge that you understand and accept responsibility, along with your child, for the books he or she checks out. Families will be billed the replacement cost for any lost or damaged books. Books are very expensive: the average cost to replace a hardbound book ranges from $15.00 to $25.00.
We thank you for your understanding and agreement. As always, do not hesitate to contact the school with any questions you might have.
